What was your path to becoming a mental health provider?
Having personally navigated the challenges of mental health stigma, I'm acutely attuned to the diverse cultural backgrounds that shape individual experiences. This insight fuels my passion for breaking down barriers and fostering a safe, inclusive environment for everyone. I understand the complexities of major life adjustments and transitions. This empathy enables me to connect deeply with individuals grappling with similar challenges.
What should someone know about working with you?
My therapeutic approach encompasses various modalities that I've honed over the years. Drawing from cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused therapy, I tailor our sessions to suit your unique needs. I firmly believe that a strong therapeutic alliance is built upon feeling comfortable and understood, and I am dedicated to being that source of support for my clients.
