About

I am a seasoned mental health professional with nearly 30 years of experience. With a diverse and culturally informed background, I bring a wealth of knowledge, insight, and lived understanding to my work with individuals seeking healing, growth, and transformation. I specialize in family therapy and couples counseling, helping individuals and couples improve communication, resolve conflict, and build stronger, more connected relationships.

I also work closely with men, particularly in the area of fatherhood, offering a supportive approach that blends clinical expertise with mentorship and guidance. My style is warm, grounded, and empowering, helping clients navigate challenges such as anxiety, trauma, substance use, and life transitions while building insight, accountability, and lasting change.

Credentials:

I hold a Master's degree in Social Work and am a Florida Registered Clinical Social Worker Intern. What should someone know about working with you?

I specialize in couples counseling, family therapy, and working with men particularly around fatherhood, identity, and relationship dynamics. I help clients improve communication, resolve conflict, and build stronger, more meaningful connections. I also have experience supporting individuals with anxiety, trauma, substance use, and life transitions, using a practical and supportive approach to foster lasting change.

My therapeutic approach integrates evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. I support clients in identifying patterns, reshaping their thinking, developing practical coping skills, and rewriting the narratives that no longer serve them. My work is rooted in a strength-based and person-centered perspective, with a strong emphasis on personal responsibility, emotional growth, and self-worth.
